Research in a nutshell

The primary aim of my research is to impliment therapeutic interventions to optimise physical function, quality of life and reduce cardiovascular and frailty health risks in adults and children with CKD. I currently lead the kidney BEAM-KIDS feasibility study funded by KRUK, which focuses on adapting the kidney BEAM digital platform for use in children and young people with CKD and also on assessing physical and psychosocial aspects before and after kidney transplantation and exercise.
