Research in a nutshell

My research uses biomarkers and routinely-collected health data to study cardiovascular risk in people with kidney disease and with kidney transplants, in order to improve treatments and long-term outcomes. My clinical interests are in rare genetic renal and metabolic disorders, and I aim to utilise these data-enabled research techniques to improve the diagnosis and understanding of these conditions and, particularly, the real-world impact of novel high-cost medicines on long-term outcomes.
